CBRE Hotels Spain have successfully selected an operator for the Melilla Puerto Hotel inMelilla, Spain. The 139 bedroom hotel will be managed by Sol Meliá from January 2010 onwards and will be renamed as “Tryp Melilla Puerto.”
CBRE Hotels Spain advised the owners, Grupo RR throughout the advisory process. Over the next two years, Grupo RR will adapt the Melilla Puerto to conform to the Tryp brand standards.
Miguel Casas, CBRE Hotels Spain commented on the process: “The Tryp Melilla Puerto is a product in strong harbour front location. The proximity of the Melilla casino, marina and town centre combine to create a comfortable and luxurious space. We are confident that with Sol Meliá managing the hotel, there will be an improvement in the hotel even in the current uncertain marketplace.
